Nice to Meet You

About me

My passion for pioneering a strong podiatry presence in ballet and dance grew from my own experience as a young RAD ballet student. I struggled with managing issues like ingrowing toenails, warts and corns, overuse injury and range of motion. When progressing to pointework and a full-time dance degree was considered, there were strong concerns given my history with pain, injury, mobility restriction and flat feet. It was only when I accidentally ended up in an information session for a Bachelor in Podiatric medicine  at the end of highschool that I realised an amazing podiatrist with an understanding of the specific requirements and demands of ballet and dance could have made a world of difference in my progression.

Since completing my degree and practicing as a clinical podiatrist, I have returned to ballet and am actively working to improve the experience of participating in dance for dancers of all ages and abilities.
